First interview was great, then I was told there'd be several more rounds of interviews as well as a technical challenge. Second round of interview was very technical intensive. The challenge itself wasn't very hard if you have used their coding language before: else don't even try since they give you one week to complete it. The challenge was comprised of several questions, very code intensive and also math and research intensive. After waiting for results, I had to reach out several times to the team to know the outcome, unfortunately I wasn't chosen and when asked feedback, they didn't provide any actual feedback, just repeated that they had chosen not to go forward with me. Don't waste your time for as little compensation they're offering especially considering it's for an independent contractor position (no actual benefits other than the salary itself)

They prefer highly academically inclined candidates. They are open to fresh candidates and value ability to learn new things highly - as it shows in their interview process. Take home coding in Wolfram Language/Mathematica
