Applied online and received call from HR who has scheduled a call with hiring manager. HR said that call with manager will be for 4 or 5min(? yes shocked). But manager (Indian) typically took 45min and at the end he said that engineers in his won't be allowed to check-in code changes as they are purely for analyzing performance of product and pass the info to engineering team. Man, then why the title says "Senior Software Development Engineer"? Anyway, straight away told the manager that i'm not interested and asked him to end the call. Thank god, he told about it in 1st call, otherwise would have wasted 1 PTO for in-person.

The interview was quite good. First round was Hiring manager which cleared with very strong hire feedback. Then there was a UML system design round, which I got positive feedback from interviewer, but after two days got rejection email. I don’t know what’s the reason behind that rejection but that was not my performance at all. So I feel, even you rock in all the rounds, there is damn less probability that you’ll be hired. Very bad experience in terms of evaluations
