I was contacted directly by a recruiter. They expressed an interest in interviewing me and asked to send a CV so they could arrange the interview. I sent my CV and never heard anything back. I would have loved to have the opportunity to interview for Workday, but I understand that after see my CV the team may not have been interested. The thing is, using these kind of fishing techniques for CV's and then ghosting the candidate is unprofessional and disrespectful. A simple final message saying that the team are not interested would be minimum amount of courtesy I would hope for here. Overall though, I think Workday should ensure that their recruiters have a better idea of what is required from candidates and are respectful to all candidates that they deal with.
