Pros:
* Great conversations with team members, including the Regional VPs of AM, the CCO, and the CEO.
* Very positive experience and feedback from the presentation of the case study.
Cons:
* Excessive time between interview rounds with little to no updates unless chased (though this didn't seem to be the recruitment lead’s fault).
* Waited four weeks after the final round interview with the CEO to be informed they had chosen another candidate.
* The 'final round' interview with the CEO felt misleading. He even opened the call by stating it wasn’t to assess my suitability, as this had already been determined through the many prior rounds. Instead, the call was framed as an opportunity for me to learn more about the company’s direction.
* The rejection email was disappointingly generic: "After careful consideration, we have decided to move forward with another candidate for this role." Despite responding and requesting further feedback, I have been ghosted.
Overall Experience:
While the initial stages of the process were promising, the lack of timely communication and final closure left a sour taste. Considering the extensive time and effort I invested preparing for the case study and interviews, I expected more respect and transparency.
Given Workplace Options specialises in employee wellbeing, their apparent disregard for candidate wellbeing is striking. Their recruitment process, unfortunately, didn’t align with the values they claim to uphold
