I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at X (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2014
Interview
It was a group meeting where I did a Mock Marketing Presentation on ways that they could secure a new client. I used Secondary and Tertiary Research Methodologies and Marketing concepts as it relates to social media and experiential events integration.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at X (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2019
Interview
Such a strange experience. Was referred to the role, initial impression was VERY positive. They know how to make you feel welcome during the first meeting. I spent 5 hrs in different interviews over the course of two weeks discussing the role, management and expectations. Had a final round where I gave a presentation, which I got positive feedback on, sent emails thanking people for their time, then nothing. Maybe they just move slow. I followed up a week later to the recruiter and the hiring manager, no responses. Then one last email to both, nothing back.
I'm not mad, just disappointed more than anything that there was no follow through. Not even a form email saying they were going with someone else, nothing. I once held the company in high regard but after this, I don't have happy feelings for them anymore. So disappointed.
