I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at X (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
After applying online, I was emailed by a recruiter and asked to complete a series of questions, mostly about Twitter and online advertising. After this, I had my first interview, which lasted about 30 minutes over the phone. About 10 days later I was informed that they were interested in having a follow up interview, also over the phone for about 30 minutes. Within the following week, I was called by the recruiter and invited to an on-site interview, which took place over the course of 2 hours and was conducted by 4 different team members in 30 minute intervals. The office was modern and of course very exemplary of the tech culture. All the people were friendly and eager to make me feel at ease. I was informed of their decision about a week after the final round of interviews. In total, the process was about 6 weeks.

Question 1
In what ways can Twitter attempt to address the challenges it currently faces with user growth?
This was by far one of the best interview experiences that I've ever had. The recruiter was kind, helpful, and always available to answer my questions. After my phone screen, I had a phone interview with one of the hiring managers, and then two round of in-person interviews. The process was seamless, and even fun. The team itself was also top-notch. At the end of the day I was told that my feedback was all positive, but the hiring manager chose to hire someone else based on preference. I truly appreciate that they were willing to provide feedback. I would consider interviewing for another opportunity at twitter simply based on their recruiting process.

How can a technology company effectively use twitter to advertise to other tech businesses?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at X (New York, NY) in Dec 2014
Interview
I went through the interview process twice actually, and both times it entailed a brief phone call with the recruiter, a half hour phone interview with a member or two from the team, an in person interview with four team members for a half hour each, and then one final video chat with another team member.
