Applied online and was immediately contacted by a recruiter, who left a message for me. I returned his call the same day. It took over 7 days for him to contact me again. Unfortunately, I missed his call and he left a message. I again returned his call same day but had to leave a message. I've followed up several times with no response. On my last attempt to follow up he answered the phone and quickly told me he didn't have time to discuss that position right now and he would call me back tomorrow. He has never returned the call. In my eyes this is completely unprofessional. At least have the common courtesy to return the call and explain the companies position.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at XPO (Dublin, OH) in Mar 2013
Interview
I went through a staffing agency which told me a bunch of questions they were probably going to ask. I then had no phone interview and was instead scheduled for a one on one with a Director. It was in his office and took no longer than 45 minutes. The director walked me out we had a non business conversation and less than a week later I had an offer presented to me.
