I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Xerox (Lexington-Fayette, KY) in Nov 2014
Interview
I knew the hiring manager from a previous engagement, not a real interview. It was an internal interview since I was already employed by Xerox, normally you would be contacted by a recruiter after reviewing your resume/application to set up an interview with the hiring manager if you passed their initial screening. Depending on which area the position is in, the interview could be very different. It's generally a typical 1:1 interview, it could be a few members of the management team as well. Standard interview process/questions to get a feel for your personality and then your actual skill set. If you meet the requirements it's usually just a matter if you fit in with the management team or atmosphere of that particular unit.
