I applied online, and my application also was forwarded to appropriate people within the organization by a former board member. I had a phone interview with a recruiter who was encouraging about my prospects. I followed up with him twice by email 2-3 weeks later, but got no response. I assumed I was being ghosted, but he contacted me almost two months later and asked if I would be interested in interviewing with the hiring manager. I did a couple of weeks later. I then again emailed the recruiter twice for an update, but received no response. I finally received a rejection email more than four months after the process began.
