Yelp Engineering Manager interview questions

several rounds of remote interviews with hr and peers. all rounds focused on different areas of the the role and were structured alongside a interview guide. the interviewers were really friendly and helped me getting to a good answer.

Interviewed by the hiring manager. Easy standard soft skills/leadership questions, scripted, not very engaging. I was told everything went very well, I should hear back in the next day. GHOSTED for 3 weeks, during which I followed up with both the recruiter and the hiring manager, then I get a generic thank you we have decided to move forward with another candidate email.
