I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter to set up a half hour phone call with the VP of engineering. The conversation was entirely about my background, my interest in the company, and any questions I had. Shortly after that call I was asked to complete a code challenge. I had 24 hours to complete the challenge and was told I should expect to need only 2-3 hours. I took much longer in the interests of being thorough. After submitting my code challenge I was asked to come in for an onsite interview. I had three back to back interviews. I first met with an engineer and data scientist for tour of a sample product and some discussion about my background. I then met with another engineer and received feedback on my code challenge. Finally I met with third engineer and together completed a pair programming exercise.
