My experience is very similar to other posts. The long assessment requires patience and is fun. Make sure you can articulate your rationales and you are truly convinced. The follow-up questions are very insightful and you can make adjustments accordingly. In addition, if you are a student who just graduated, think of yourself communicating with a colleague when you answer the so-called "take-home exam." Initially, I expanded many details as if I was writing a real take-home math exam. Some of my answers turned out to be not straightforward enough and might be a bit redundant for business settings. I adjusted my style in later responses, but looking back and knowing the context after the interview, I would like to write even more concise if I do it again. Following the assessment are interviews with 5 people from different functions - HR, engineering, research, product, and CEO. Everyone is extraordinarily friendly and straightforward. The structure of the 5 people indicates how flat and agile the company is. You will also be able to ask any of your questions. I did not know there was a brief case study with the VP of product. Remember to prepare for that as well. One minor suggestion to the company - if possible, could you take diversity of the interviewers into consideration, especially as Yipit is in the finance industry? For example, I might want to talk with one more female interviewer. That being said, I really enjoyed the conversations with all of my interviewers and I know the firm's culture is impeccable!
