I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at ZS Associates (Pune) in Feb 2018
Interview
There will be an Aptitude online test at first. Video interview was done by Talview for students selected from aptitude test. Video interview shortlisted students are called to Zs associates pune office for further 3 rounds of interviews. 1. Case study round 2. Behavioral round 3. Final fit round. Case study round involves 4 questions based on the data of a problem given in a booklet of 8-10 pages. Just think of the solution and the way to get it and tell that to the interviewer when asked. They mainly see your approach for the solutions rather than final answers. In behavioral rounds they grill you over your past experiences and ask Guesstimates and Puzzles. Practice guesstimates and puzzles. Answer truthfully for the behavioral questions. If selected there will be a final fitment interview. It is mainly done to verify that you fit well to the company culture and ethics. every interview is a rejection round. Overall performances in all interview is interpreted while selecting the students. 300+ students sat for apti test from our college and finally 4 students were offered.
The interview is rated as one of the toughest interview to crack ( placed above google in interview toughness) So don't take it lightly. My hard work of a year resulted as Offer letter from ZS.

Question 1
Being from a tech background they asked me why do i want to shift to consulting role
Smooth and transparent. Technical and manager rounds are mostly constitutes around how you go about a problem/situation, thinking process and execution. Overall, the entire process depends on how you go about it, just need to be confident and cognitively strong with good thinking and problem solving skills
The interview process was condensed to interviews, both split between a behavioral section and case study section. For the case studies they do require you to read many charts and graphs.
