3 Interviews, all back to back and 30 min each:
Behavioral - Get to know who you are and your interests. I was not asked any "tell me a situation when..." questions; rather, it was an open conversation regarding my previous work which related to the position. Expect to answer "Why consulting" and "Why ZS".
Unstructured Case - Began with introductory questions regarding past experience. After a couple of minutes, the interviewer then created a brainstorming case based off the work I did and asked me to structure it in order to make an impact. At ZS, they emphasize "quantifying the impact" so make sure you highlight this in your structure whether its through numbers or a process. Hardest interview overall.
Structured case - Quick intro then right into the case, which was a powerpoint deck involving charts, graphs and figures. Mine was a marketing case, but can vary. Here, all you really need to know is how to interpret chart data, work with numbers ($M) and mentally computing percentages of that which is straightforward. The numbers should tell you how to answer the case question. Easier than expected.
Overall, the people I interviewed with were friendly and authentic, something I did not experience in past interviews. The process was quick and I received an offer the next morning. Excited to join the ZS team!
