The interview process first involved a phone screen with the recruiter, followed by a behavioral interview with a higher-level executive. The interview went well and I was told by the interviewer that they liked my overall profile. However, I did not hear back from the company for over 2 weeks. After, multiple emails the recruiter finally told me that they would not be selecting me because I worked with a company that they have considerable business with and that it might affect business operations moving forward. If that was the case I would have appreciated it if I had been told this before I had started the interview process as the company's name was clearly mentioned on my resume and I had spent a lot of time preparing for the interviews which turned out to be not a great utilization of my time.
