I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Zepz
Interview
The interview process had 3 steps. Step 1 was a 30 Minutes initial phone interview of getting to know the applicant, role alignment, and a time for applicant to ask questions. Step 2 was a take home project to access applicants technical aptitude and analytical skills. The Final step was an interview with 4 sections: case study interview with a current staff at the company and applicant will conduct community outreach and research of a particular demographic they are needing to reach, behavioral interview regarding past work experiences, mission alignment with company's culture, mission, and values, and lastly a coffee chat for applicant and interviewer to discuss any additional questions either person has.

Question 1
There were many questions but they provided a very detailed information on what to expect for all the interview steps plus for the final step, you had to do research for the certain demographics you were trying to reach
Friendly interview with a lot of the typical interview questions, nothing surprising from the interview. It was a first screening with an HR representative. They let me know after the interview that the following stages would be a practice project and in-person interview.

Question 1
Tell us about t atime when you had to work through a challenge, tell us about a time when you had to work with cultures different than your own.
The whole process was all in all unprofessional. The process was not transparent, with the next steps being completely vague, and varied depending on who you spoke to. All in all the team is quite young, inexperienced, I have worked with quite a few startups, have not seen top startup talent here at Zeps -rather the sort of talent who you see work in rather traditional work environments. If you want to be around smart colleagues, who are driven, intellectually curious and posses some sort of critical reasoning-this is not the place for you.
