      Sales Development Representative Interview

      Jun 20, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Zerto in Jun 2017

      Interview

It was a two stage process, starting with an Interview with both the EMEA SDR Manager and the Global SDR Director. This was an incredibly rewarding interview covering a variety of topics ranging from my previous roles to my education. Very lively and friendly with an emphasis on meaningful answers, questions were encouraged and answered openly. Immediate feedback was positive and forthcoming, and I feel like had they had any doubts I'd have been invited to address them. A very encouraging first interaction with management! The second stage was a Skype based interview with a member of the HR team based in Tel-Aviv. Once again, very friendly and welcoming whilst looking to assess how good a fit I was for the company and how good a fit the company was for me. Lasted around half an hour, feedback was given on request. Overall I found the whole process to be smooth and quick. Zerto really maintains the start up feel. My advice to anyone else interviewing to Zerto would be to take the time to research the company and the product. Not only are you showing valuable skills by doing so; but also you'll gain some natural discussion points for your interviews.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Zerto (Sydney) in Sep 2018

      Interview

I interviewed at Zerto in September 2018. Country Manager in Australia interviewed me and suggested I can apply this sales development role. then I had interviews with the Marketing manager, the Communication manager, Inside sales team. around 5 interviews. The questions were around how to generate meeting and how to achieve monthly target. The interview was good. However, the process is rather elongate. I wait and wait , its been more than 1 and half month since the interview. Finally, they offered the job, but the salary package is way out of the line, and the uncapped commissions becomes capped. So they said they will find out what is going on and reply to me. After two month, they told me its not their fault, but the head account has been ceased. The headquarter decided not to go ahead with this position. What a company, two month of process, and the position is no longer available at the end . But I need to say in all fairness, the employees were very considerate and informative. I mean they have done the best they can. I would recommend anyone who would like to have an opportunity to give yourself a two month time to experience and thoroughly comprehend the meaning of elongate.
