I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Zix (Burlington, MA) in Aug 2018
Interview
I was contacted by a 3rd party and after a short screening, started the interview process. I spoke first with the hiring manager, and had a great conversation. He was fantastic at keeping the process moving along despite the challenges of geography and very busy schedules. After a couple of weeks, I was invited to meet with the head of enterprise sales, we also had a great conversation. After speaking with the head of HR, and the Hiring manager again, I was set to meet with the VP of WW sales. I felt fairly confident, as everyone who I met with up until then was very positive. After what felt like a good conversation with the VPWWS, I got a follow up call from the hiring manager the next day, letting me know that there were some concerns, and they'd decided to pass on me. While I was pretty shocked, and very disappointed, this is just the way things go sometimes.
