Phone call with recruiter - 45 mins Technical phone screen (Zoom audio) - 1 hour - language trivia questions and OOP design problem (airline ticket) Virtual onsite - 6 hours - Technical presentation - general CS algorithms - CV/ML - 3 rounds. 2 interviewers literally asked me similar questions. -math and logical reasoning - The question list on the first link when you type Zooxs interview questions is what was asked. While it's a seemingly straight forward process, the interview process is very haphazard and high school trivia type. I was supposed to have a behavioral round but that interview turned into a CV/ML additional round. Couple of interviewers had a question list and went down it to check off the questions not waiting to have a discussion. That was very off-putting. In the math and logic round, interviewer is just looking for the "keywords" and the minute you say it or don't say it within 3 minutes, they move on. No scope for discussion or thinking out here. It's a long onsite process that's not structured well. Most of the interviewers only care about theoretical knowledge. Additionally, only 2 interviewers out of 5 actually gave me a chance to ask them questions about the company. That is big red flag for me.
