Interview
I participated in a phone screen. I felt very confident after the conversation. I possess all of the required skills, knowledge and background they are looking for. I was told by the HR representative that she would call me back to schedule an in person interview. I seemed to be a great fit for the position. I never heard from her again. I see that they have not filled the position. It has been reposted for the second time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic questions. Nothing out of the ordinary. I have performed more in depth phone screens as an HR professional.
I didn't apply for the position, I was reached out to by a TA Director. At the time they reached out I had a very interesting situation with my career and was potentially going back to a company I left less than two weeks before Elkay reached out. I hadn't planned on dishing my chaos to someone I never met that sought me out for a job. 5 weeks go by and they decided to move me to a third round of interviews, but on Father's Day looked at my LinkedIn, realized I wasn't with my previous company and asked for a call before 830am Monday with an explanation. My red flag was just that - I didn't owe anything, they sought me out and then expected a deliberation in less than 24hours on a Sunday. Additionally, during my interview I felt my previous experience was belittled and I was made to feel like I wasn't deserving of the job and like they would be doing me a favor. I'm gladly moving on to other opportunities

Interview
I applied for the job online and was contacted by one of their corporate recruiters who did a brief phone screen. I had a phone interview with the HR Director then a couple weeks later, a Skype interview. I was brought out to the site about 3 weeks later for an in-person interview.
I waited about 3 weeks after the final interview before checking on the status of the job and when I called, the person they had selected for the role answered the phone. She seemed shocked that nobody had bothered to tell the people who had interviewed in person...
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were a mix of situational ("Tell me about a time when..." and "How would you...") and very basic ones such as asking why I wanted to work for Rexnord or why I had chosen HR as a career path.
