The case study focuses on your ability to dissect processes and to create logical/creative solutions. There isn't any one right answer, but as long as you can articulate your thoughts well and succinctly summarize your recommendations, you will be fine. I'd highly recommend practicing case studies with a partner before your interview.
You have a project due and you have a 500 man workforce. How do you manage it?
1) Tell me about a time when you failed? How did you proceed after that?
The case involved a client who was experiencing declining profitability in one of its lines of business. Two questions were asked: 1) What approach would you use to understand why there is a decline in profitability?, and 2) Calculate revenues by LOB based on percentage of total revenue by year (numbers were provided).
