Overall, there were a lot of follow up questions to get at my experiences. They were oriented around positions where I took on a lot of responsibility/leadership. The questions also focused on my ability to manage a staff and in particular motivate a team.
I would have desired her to asked me something interesting but none. She was half-prepared and I wasted a day due to this interview schedule.
I am able to answer all questions and did not think any questions as unexpected or difficult.
The most difficult or unexpected question was with regards to how a young American manager would deal with managing and interacting with non-English speaking team members and in an environment with many regional and traditional business traditions.
“if you have a difficult client that you had to interact with, how would you communicate with them?”
The most unexpected question was of a personal nature-- which is why it was unexpected and caught me off guard. They will inevitably ask questions related to the importance of a liberal arts education.
