1) On a scale of 1 to 10, how would your supervisor rate your performance at X job? 2) They lay out a facet of the job (a "competency," which they pull from the job posting), then ask you to provide an example of when you succeeded in fulfilling this competency and a time when you failed/could have done better in fulfilling this competency.
