Interview
Fairly quick interview process about a week and a half - it consisted of an HR Recruiter reaching out to me for a phone interview to gauge my interest and ask a few technical questions after I had applied online. I then had a 30 minute phone interview with someone on the team I would be joining. To get to know me and ask technical questions. They then followed up within the hour after the call and requested an in person interview with me that consisted of 5, 30 minute interviews two of which were more technical and coding based and the others were more behavior, work experience, and cultural fit type questions from BA's and project managers I'd be working with.
They moved very quickly through the interview process and got me an answer and decision within a few hours because I informed them I had other offers on the table already.

Question 1
Nothing was too difficult or unexpected. I read existing reviews and interview experiences here so I already knew there interview style and to expect that I would have to show some coding knowledge. Their very interested in knowing your problem solving experience and thought process and will definitely help guide you to the answer and see if you could figure it out on your own rather than giving you the answer.

To put it in one sentence, Athenahealth’s interview process is significantly flawed and out of touch. Expect 4.5-6 HOURS of rigorous coding round interviews where you must complete fully optimized working solutions. There’s no care for how, or why you solved the problem. Just get every test case passing, and you’ve got a job. It’s clear this company is more keen on hiring a leetcoder, rather than trying to identify real talent. Other than the HM interview, no other opportunities are given to meet your potential coworkers. Expect to hop on a call with a stone wall of an interviewer, and have no intro’s or icebreaker. This was probably the biggest red flag of all.
