I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at athenahealth (Watertown, MA) in Jun 2015
Interview
Very fast interviewing process. Had 30 minutes phone interview with recruiter. Then 30 minute interview with hiring manager. They then set up in person interviews. Emailed a project to do involving data analysis that I would have to present. During the in person interview I met with 5 people and gave my presentation, about 5 hours total.
Interview questions were not hard, mostly behavioral, one analytical case question but easy. They care that you are smart, hardworking and would fit in with their companies culture.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at athenahealth
Interview
It was a very informative interview with Management team well researched and made the interview a very comfortable experience. There was ample opportunity to discuss and there were great questions asked about compatibility and how certain situations within work experience was handled. I was anticipating the interview to have a portion dedicated to technical skills which were strong preferences in the job description.
