Interview questions were pretty standard, the audit partner just wanted to get to know me, whereas the audit manager asked structured questions, such as "what are your strengths, weaknesses, etc", and "provide an example of a situation where you had to deal with difficult people".
General behaviral questions, tech questions and a case
Very detailed technical examples questions were asked.
Questions focus on the aspect of the business I would be auditing, which for me was Investments. Probably common knowledge, but if you are interviewing for an Internal audit role (asides ICFR and SOX), the best bet is to be grounded in the area you will be auditing.
