A business intelligence engineer, or BI engineer for short, will probably receive several questions about their ability to use scripting languages, processors, and programs used by the prospective employer's company. Though some questions about human relations may come up, the BI Engineer interview may be more involved with your experience level in data analysis.
1) How would you grow a YouTube channel's subscriber base? 2) What analytical techniques would use in this type of marketing campaign? 3) How important are external advertising factors (video titles, subscriber engagement, etc.)? 4) When would use this type of visualization (a pie chart, a line chart, etc.)? 5) When you are measuring categorical data, how would you visualize it? 6) What is an aggregate function in SQL and how would use them?

Questions on OOPS concept and SQL queries, DBMS related questions were asked. There was in- depth discussion on my projects.
Typical screening questions like how did you hear about us and what interested you in the position. They did however ask me to send them examples of my work. I assume this was only for the type of position I was applying for because of how complicated it could get.
