Interview
If your a developer dont waste your time applying because none of those skills are assessed. They rather test you on verbal reasoning which is absolute waste of time if your from a tech background.
Application
Tests. Logic test,following change of shapes and colour.also verbal reasoning reading texts and deducing information.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at bp in Mar 2021
Interview
1. Situational Judgement Questionnaire - Based on their values, make sure to keep these in mind
2. Numerical and Verbal Reasoning Tests - Easy
3. Hirevue Video interview - Competency based, again focussed on their values, also a short programming task
Pretty fast process between these 3 stages.
I then had a 3 month wait between video interview and invitation to a technical interview. But they kept in contact with me over the 3 months and informed me of what was happening etc.
Then had a technical interview which was a few competency questions but mainly case study based. I had 2 tasks to do - one I found very easy, the other difficult due to the fact I'd never done anything like it before.
Have nothing negative to say, just that going through the process I realised the job and the company wasn't the right fit for me.
Phoned me to let me know their decision and give me some feedback - which is always appreciated.
