The scenario where a customer challenged me had me stumbling over my words. I expected it, but as I was inexperienced with debt collection at the time, I found it quite difficult to end the imaginary call without a successful collection. I was told that this happens, though, and it didn't seem to reflect negatively on my performance. Some people simply can, or will not pay.
