German knowledge is preferred but not a must. My German was very weak back then but I had to answer some questions in German. It was a shame but it didn't matter :)

I was asked about stress-strain relationship and its impact on the product design
The third task was to produce a design that would allow a fan to oscillate in two directions. They weren't after anything too detailed. Just to show a concept that would work. I did far better on this task than the other two. Identifying a mechanism similar to the one currently used in their products.
The second task was to discuss the production methods for an injection moulded, poly-carb part. This went better, although I didn't know any specific terms I was able to identify the methods used.
