La entrevista fue bastante bien, hasta que llegó en momento de ponerse a hablar en Inglés. Lo inteligente para evaluar el nivel de Inglés de un candidato es hablar sobre dónde has ido de vacaciones, sobre tu película favorita... Un tema que no requiera al candidato el sobre esfuerzo de, además de hablar en Inglés, tener que contestar preguntas del tipo 'háblame de tí' o 'que se te da bien/mal'. Preguntas que ya por si solas no aportan absolutamente nada a la entrevista, mas allá de que, o bien el candidato responda algo que tenga previamente preparado, con lo cual seguramente está mintiendo, o bien que el candidato se quede con la mente en blanco y balbuceando sin saber que contestar a semejantes preguntas. En mi caso, ocurrió lo segundo, y esas fueron todas las preguntas que pude contestar en Inglés. Estamos en el siglo XXI. Preguntas de ese tipo son de manual de recursos humanos de los años 90. Por no insistir en la pésima idea de, además, utilizarlas para evaluar el nivel de Inglés de un candidato.

The questions were asked mainly from skills match in the Job Description and the skills mentioned in the resume. There were also scenario-based questions for DevOps and best practices like Jenkins CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Powershell, Bash Shell

Write a script to detect duplicate files across a directory tree. Can you make it faster? Can you add more CLI flags? Can you make it *even faster*? Oh, yes, just like you said in your email with the initial sample? OK, but don't make it faster those ways. Why don't you do this one thing that doesn't actually do what we think it does? Oh, because then you'll write a test mode to prove that it doesn't work very well? Yuck, too complicated. You failed. Can you do the Vagrant thing?
