Interview process was actually very offputting. Big emphasis on cultural fit and was told three times throughout interview that going down the pub was inherent through the office culture. As a non-drinker I found this very offputting and instantly felt uncomfortable. Interview massively deviated from the job spec and was focused purely on Paid Search rather than the full digital marketing mix as per the job description. Interviewers and the environment felt very sloppy and too informal with huge emphasis on how if I joined I could meet and work with my best friend there. Felt like I was being interviewed by haphazard student/graduates rather than a proper process. Don’t believe the glassdoor reviews which state this is the best culture ever worked in. Then got asked by HR in front of the entire open office how I felt about the interviews - talk about uncomfortable and unprofessional ! Surely HR should know better?!!! Left feeling straightaway I did not want to work here due to how unprofessional it all felt. Then got a call from HR saying they wouldn’t proceed and accused me of lying during the interview - when I had been very honest and upfront throughout. Felt very scrappy kind of company with very loosely principled interviewers and HR department. Probably one of the least enjoyable or professional interviews I’ve had. Felt it was far too informal and wasn’t respectful or considerate enough to a different mix of cultural candidate.

Usual screening questions around experience, technical interview required a few hours research. Over 6 weeks later and two unanswered emails to Abby still have no feedback at all, understand they went for someone else but to expect me to go through all that for absolutely no feedback abnd to ignore me I think is very poor and demotivating.
