Other than questions about the industry and such, a lot of the focus was on the culture and my managing / working styles which shows how much the culture of the company is important.
- tell me re background then transition to what I’m looking for - do you consider yourself an operations guy or a BD guy? - how do I decide what to delegate and what to keep for myself? - what is [main client] doing right? what is [main client] doing wrong? - how would I craft strategy to influence [client] to be more receptive to SATCOM as a service or commercial network orchestration as part of future operations construct? - what do I assimilate best and most quickly when I come into new role and things are difficult and confusing?
The first one on one interview was more or less conversation in which I was asked about my previous positions and why I wanted to leave my current job. I felt I asked more questions since I had no experience in fundraising. I assume the 3rd step group interview is when the more difficult questions come in.
Tell us about your previous fundraising experience...what percent of grants that you wrote were funded?
Given my interviewer, the questions were fairly straightforward.
