Was initially contacted via a website with a proposal to apply for a position well beneath my competency level. After informing the sourcer, she came back with an offer for a position which I did find interesting and so by email, I was offered the position in question and was told that a senior person in HR would contact me with all the details and advantages that came with the position. The sourcer even stated that she was delighted and that she was looking forward to us working together. Well... It turns out, I never received the details and advantages from the senior HR person. Rather, I was contacted by someone who stated that a requirement had just been added to the posting, which a certificate for a course on something I have been doing for over 20yrs. Nonetheless, even if the job had literally been offered in writing, then never followed through.
