Filled out the online application on 12/16, the next day (12/17) I was sent a list of questions to answer. Felt as though the sent the list because of a level of interest in my candidacy. The next day 12/18 I was rejected because someone else was offered and accepted the job.
Honestly felt as though dormakaba wasted a bunch of my time and were completely disingenuous about the job listing.
I honestly never would have posted this unless they stupidly reached out and asked me to do this. This company doesn’t seem to have an sense of awareness at all on their hiring practices.

I applied online. I interviewed at dormakaba (Melbourne) in May 2025
Interview
4 rounds: phone screening with HR business partner; face to face with local marketing head and HR business partner; 5pm virtual interview with global pricing lead in Italy; 7am virtual interview with global pricing team member in the states. Proceeded with reference checks and medical checks. HR business partner rang to offer the verbal offer. Then the offer was pulled with HR partner promised to follow up reason and feedback for me and never did even with my follow ups, and put the responsibility on someone else didn't do their part.
Apparently they may price customers with high prices and offer low level after sale services which sounds dodgy, inconsistent with a global lead reputation.
