it's mostly behavioral interviewing - STAR model - situation, action / task / result; many managers and team members are not trained in behavioral interviewing. some of the interviewers were themselves disengaged and seemed like they had one foot out the door

They were very specific about how i'd solve a particular problem. no other questions were other than around the issue they were fazing for the coming months
