Case: You are a consultant hired to a hospital. You are tasked with lowering outsourcing costs, what questions would you ask? You find out they outsource their dialysis unit 100%. Now what do you ask? Math: You come to three options, keep the contracted vendor, hire a new vendor, or completely insource what would you chose?...the number of treatments / year is given and the cost of each for vendor and insourcing is given. You get 5 mins to do math then answer. The CEO just walked in, give a one min pitch of your recommendation. How would you implement?
