Unprofessional Hiring Process – Lack of Communication after multiple rounds I interviewed with HighLevel for the Lead Tableau Developer role, and unfortunately the experience was very bad. The process started on 21 January 2026 and involved four rounds of interviews, including a technical assignment, which is surprising considering the role required 9+ years of experience. Despite that, I completed every stage professionally and received positive feedback from the first three rounds. The final round was with the Head of HR for a cultural fit discussion on 2 March 2026, which went smoothly. However, after that conversation, the company completely stopped communicating. I tried following up with my HR point of contact through LinkedIn, email, and phone, but received no response whatsoever. There was no rejection email, no feedback, and no closure after nearly six weeks of engagement in their hiring process. To make matters worse, I recently saw the same Lead Tableau Developer position being reposted on LinkedIn, which raises serious questions about the transparency and respect shown to candidates who invested significant time in their interview process. A hiring process reflects a company’s culture. Unfortunately, in this case, the lack of communication, long gaps between rounds, and complete silence after the final interview show a clear disregard for candidates’ time and effort. I hope the company improves its recruitment practices and at least provides basic professional courtesy by closing the loop with candidates who go through multiple interview rounds. Advice to Management: Improve candidate communication and ensure timely updates. Ghosting candidates after multiple rounds and assignments damages employer reputation and candidate trust.
