1st Round - Simple screening with recruiter. Everything seemed fine, was told more in-depth details would be given in the next rounds of interviews, mentioned salary range that I was okay with 2nd Round - Call with marketing manager. Call started 15 minutes late due to technical difficulties on their end. Finally got connected after being sent a new Zoom link. Asked about personal life, hobbies, etc. Was asked about my qualifications for the position. Was told I wouldn't have made it this far if my requested salary wasn't in the range. All seemed fine and was advanced to next round 3rd Round - Call with Marketing Manager and Customer Experience Director My calendar invitation had two zoom links on it and apparently I was supposed to somehow know to use the second one. I assumed they were having technical difficulties again but I emailed to make sure. We now get connected. At this point, in the 3rd round interview, I'm informed this position requires you to bring your own equipment and be prepared to replace it at any given time. All for the same salary range that I agreed to in the first round interview. I was told "plumbers supply their own wrenches". The problem with that is wrenches don't cost thousands of dollars. I was also informed the position would also include social media posting - again for the same salary agreed to in the first round interview. I was also given technical critiques by a marketing manager that had to ask what the "circle thingy" inside the camera is called. FYI the correct term is "aperture". This company seems like a joke and I can only imagine would be one of the most painful experiences of my life. They hid crucial job information/duties on the posting, wasted hours of my time, and overall seem like a company that preys on their current/future employees. I strongly encourage everyone to think twice before applying. If you're interviewing and are reading this, save yourself now. This company is cannibalistic and reeks of corporate greed.
