Interview
I noticed that the interviewer struggled with clear communication and did not seem well-equipped to assess the role effectively. This led to an evaluation that did not align with my actual performance. Constructive and fair assessments are crucial for maintaining a high hiring standard, and I hope this feedback helps improve the process for future candidates. I feel I performed well during the interview. Additionally, I’d suggest that a more capable interviewer be assigned in the future, as this experience hasn’t been reflective of my skills or qualifications.. A hiring process should be designed to accurately assess candidates based on merit, and having unqualified interviewers can negatively impact both the company’s reputation and its ability to attract strong talent. Despite answering all technical questions correctly and providing a working solution, the feedback I received was negative—based on a question that was never even asked during the interview. This raises concerns about the fairness and credibility of the evaluation process. It appeared that personal bias or insecurity influenced the outcome rather than an objective assessment of my technical abilities.

The first round involved a practical automation assignment where I had to reverse-engineer APIs from the GoHighLevel UI, create a Contact via API, convert it into an Opportunity, and then verify it through Playwright UI automation. The task required chaining API responses, adding retry logic for UI delays, and validating an opportunity card on the Opportunities page.
The instructions were clear, the team was responsive when clarification was needed, and the challenge felt very close to real work instead of theory-based questions. Overall, a solid, hands-on and fair assessment of automation skills.
