      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at iPipeline (Exton, PA) in Oct 2022

      Interview

Don’t bother accepting a position if your credit history is shaky. Interview process took about 4 weeks. Met with recruiter, then hiring manager and team members. I was offered a position and I accepted, and signed an offer letter. My offer was rescinded 2 days before my start date due to some small unpaid debts from 2018. Recruiter called to ask about credit history, I explained what happened in 2018 (had a sick child, medical debts piled up) and how I was slowly paying down debts. Also, I don’t have any big negatives like repossession, foreclosure or bankruptcy on my credit history. Recruiter said it shouldn’t be an issue and she’d talk to Talent Acquisition Director about our discussion. The recruiter called me 2 days later to say they can’t hire me. At this point, I already received a laptop w/credentials & other equipment for the job. I’d also given notice to my current employer. The process of a background, credit and driving record check is explained by recruiter after you’re hired. I signed to consent to these checks but noticed there’s a disclosure that says ipipeline can only use that info if it’s related to the job in question. Business Analysts don’t handle money, ever. (And since when is a driving record checked for a BA job?) Additionally, ipipeline received my background & credit checks, etc on a Tuesday, they waited 8 days to review it. Once reviewed, I was contacted by recruiter, and then waited another 2 days to hear back. So, 10 days total to tell me that they decided not to give me the job after I signed the offer letter. Additionally, I was informed verbally when I believe law states it has to come in writing. I didn’t receive a letter in the mail for about an month after this mess. The interview process wasn’t bad, but I would never recommend anyone go through a month long interview and hiring process if you have a questionable credit history. Credit shouldn’t be used to disqualify candidates who have credit issues, especially for positions that do not handle company funds, ESPECIALLY given we just had a pandemic. Additionally, why send equipment with login credentials if you’re worried about a person’s credit history? Seems odd. I guess every employee at the company has perfect credit. :)

      Senior Business Analyst Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at iPipeline in Jul 2022

      Interview

The interview process with iPipeline was typical (multiple steps: phone screening, technical interview, senior level interview), but the difference with iPipeline was the amazing communication from the recruiter. Ashley was by far the most communicative, friendly and transparent recruiter I have dealt with and would recommend interviewing with iPipeline anytime. After many other interview process "fails" in my mind (other companies), it was a breath of fresh air. The process does take a bit (after interviews, you provide 5 references who have to fill out a survey, so pick people that will respond!) But the waiting on references was the hardest part of the process. I am excited to become a part of the team!

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

How do you get a remote team engaged?

      Question 2

Explain a time when you worked on a large project.
