So many great questions I can’t single out one. All questions were related to job role and what experience I had relating to the question. All interviews were fantastic! (One screening call, followed by a first & 2nd interview. The 2nd interview was more of a vibe check, any final questions to clarify my understanding of the role)

Technical interview consisted of a PFD showing a stream going through a heater, then through a reactor, and then through a distillation column. The drawing showed a couple of indicators and final control elements. Questions included: How would you set up the base layer controls, what models would you expect with a movement in each of the MVs (directional only) what pressure might this column operate at.

Be ready for a ‘think on your feet’ question. I was asked ‘if you had to explain to someone how to make (insert food) and they’d never heard of it before, how would you explain it?’

I was asked in every interview whether I was OK with 75% travel. Yes, I repeated. As long as expectations were clear, I'm good. The "Skills Assessments" responses were a delivery of intellectual property, basically designing a business solution they were free to use as they wish.
Why should we hire you? I don't care how passionate you are - how are you going to make me money?
The questions were not really difficult but out of scope. The recruiter the candidate to be a programmer as well as a stereotype manager.
