Had an inital interview with an external recruiter, then had 2 rounds of onsite interviews. At the end of the 2nd round interview, I was set to have a phone interview with the VP of Sales, but this person never called. I emailed the founder and President (co-founder) to thank them for their time and to let them know I did not receive a call from their VP of Sales. I did not receive a reply, followed up with the the external recruiter the following week to find one they hired another person. I accept that I got beat out by another candidate but common courtesy by the interviewers to let me know (even by email) the result would not be too much to ask for or even tell me the call with the VP of sales wasn't going to happen. Probably for the best.
