Why do you choose investment banking?
I was asked about who their competitors were, which is often asked by potential employers, but is not easy to answer unless you have an insight into their marketing strategy, which you don't have when you don't work for the company yet. Once you do work for the company and know who the competitors are and what the marketing and other objectives are, and why, you can then approach your work accordingly.
Some basic technical questions. I couldn't remember each of them.
How do you value a firm?
Mostly behavioral and asked about my background and prior work experience. Seemed more interested in personality than technical skills most likely because my role did not involve too much data analysis it was more qualitative.
Tell me the subjects in your last semester? Difference between M&A? DCF CAPM EBIT MUTIPLES FINANCIAL RATIOS THATS IT NOTHING FROM OUTSIDE OF THESE TOPICS
