Even when my score in the test was high and I explained well the process I made to solve the problem and the possible improvements, later I received a rejection saying that even when my qualifications and experiences were impressive my "lack of experience in coding" made them to not proceed with my application. I supposed this question about optimization was crucial for the process even when they were looking for a junior and they emphasized that they were not expecting that the junior knew everything.
