They asked a lot about my soft skills, and not as many about my technical, design, or facilitation skills. To me this signified they were confident in my resume experience, but wanted to learn more about me as a person, how I think and analyze, etc. which was quite refreshing.

What do you see as the main issues facing learning and development in companies?
From being a PCM (with Economics) student → to graduating in Economics Honours → to doing a data analytics internship → to presenting papers at national and international conferences → and then applying for a sales role — it was definitely an interesting question: “Why is your life trajectory so different?” Honestly, I had no idea how to answer it professionally. So instead of giving a sugar-coated or textbook-style response, I chose to be honest.
They asked me about the elements of sales and the key factors to consider when making a sales pitch.
