I described my experience - lecturing, mentoring and research - my teaching philosophy and where my strengths lay, and they then described how they designed their course and department norms. It was a very comfortable discussion and they gave me a clear picture of the priorities of the school.

standard set of questions on teaching, research focus and publications, and ideas for projects - nothing surprising but staff on the panel were keen to engage with me and my answers, it was more of a dialogue than a strict interview, I enjoyed it.
