I think that after sending such a long and time-consuming assignment, the least the company should do is to offer a chat with the candidate in order to share feedback with them. It is acceptable not to be a good fit for a role, but it is unfair to be disrespectful, non inclusive and dismissive the way Wix reviewer and HR were. The feedback I received was about the technical part, which again, was not in the job description, and to date it is not clear to me why the second part was not accepted. I would appreciate proper feedback as the reviewer proved to have either little experience on people management and localization, or very different expectations for the role. In any case, it is not acceptable. If anyone else is asked to complete a long assignment that is not consistent with the vacancy they applied for, and have doubts, please clarify them with their HR upfront. If they don't answer, walk away. Remember that your time is as valuable as theirs.
