      Educator Interview

      Oct 10, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Chicago, IL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at lululemon (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2018

      Interview

I applied online to several locations and heard back from 3 within 24-48 hours. I ended up interviewing at 2 locations, but accepted a position before I could complete my interview at the 3rd. The first round consisted of a group interview with a key leader and assistant store manager, along with 3 other interviewees. This does NOT mean you're all competing for the same position -- during the holiday season they were looking to hire 4-5 people. It was extremely relaxed; definitely wear lululemon and be yourself. The second round either consists of another group interview or a 1:1. Again, very relaxed. Although the application was for a full-time educator position, it was clear that the position was actually for a part-time seasonal contract, likely due to the time of year. Fear not, although you may only be scheduled part-time, they said there were so many shifts during the holidays available for pick-up that you could be working full-time. The caveat with that of course is that you'd be working full-time without the full-time benefits. They were clear however that this is essentially a "try-out" phase and you could be hired as a permanent employee after the holidays. It was certainly a positive interview experience: wear lululemon, be yourself, RESEARCH the company and ask questions to show you know what they're about, and smile when you talk!!!
