I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at lululemon (Sydney) in Apr 2024
Interview
I was invited to do a group interview via zoom with the store manager and 5-6 other candidates. After about a week, I received an invitation for an in-person interview at the store location. A couple hours after the interview finished, I was offered the position as educator.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Group interview questions:
Why do you want to work at Lululemon?
What does guest experience mean to you?
What would you do if someone in your team is not doing their share of the work?
Tell me about a time you made a mistake during work.
For the in-person interview, I don't remember exactly what the questions were but they were based off the Lululemon values.
A couple questions that I recall were:
1. You notice someone is feeling left out, how would you ensure they feel included?
2. Showing self awareness, tell me about a time you did not take feedback well
3. How would you ensure you connect with a guest if you are unable to verbally communicate with them in the same language?
For all these questions, the interviewers asked us to use the STAR method :)
first round was a group interview in store (more questions to identify your strengths/weaknesses and style), followed by a second round of individual interview with store manager for shortlisted candidates (more getting to know you)
